IPC Connected Factory eXchange (CFX)

The new global IIoT manufacturing industry standard forming the backbone of Industry 4.0 Applications

What’s New in Electronics Live 2018 (WNIE Live) was the first UK exhibition to deliver a live CFX standard production line.

The UK event offered visitors the opportunity to see global equipment suppliers working with industry experts, showcasing the benefits of this world-wide Industrial IoT communication standard for assembly manufacturing.

Working alongside The Hermes Standard and The MTC (Manufacturing Technology Centre), live demonstrations of the IPC Connected Factory eXchange (CFX) line took place twice daily during the show. Showcasing the cloud based sharing facility of this pioneering standard, a live demo of CFX was also observed, in real time, by a group of 13 engineers located 6,000 miles away in Taiwan.

IPC-CFX can simply be described as a standard providing a purpose, working components and benefits. Delivered across multiple applications and sustainable.
